Spinal Decompression can be a great treatment for chronic low back pain, chronic neck problems, and disc herniations.
Spinal decompression involves computerized traction that slowly ramps up to a maximum pull and holds for a set period of time. After a time, the unit will reduce its pull to a minimum. This motion causes imbibition (pumping), which helps to hydrate discs. If there is a herniated disc, this motion pulls disc material back into the disc and lowers pressure on nearby nerve roots.
