Chase Burks from Marietta pitches for Chattahoochee Valley. He’s been playing since he was 5 years old and even pitched in the Junior College World Series.
Chase shared some of his experiences with us:
What memory stands out in your baseball career?
Pitching in the Juco World Series.
How do you stay at the top of your game?
I train 6 days a week
What keeps you motivated with such a busy schedule?
Baseball is fun to me and I love to compete
Have you ever suffered an injury that kept you from competing?
Tendinitis in my shoulder.
How has Dr. Addison helped you get back in the game?
Anytime I have had a problem with my arm or anything he figures out different ways to get me where I need to be. Whether that is deep tissue, stem, ultrasound, or taping it has all allowed me to compete for full seasons.
What’s next for you?
Play baseball as long as I can and then go into the business world.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for Chase. Best of luck in your up coming season. Go Pirates!
